ABSTRAK Latar Belakang:Hepatitis virus adalah infeksi sistematik yang dominan menyerang hati. Hampir semua kasus hepatitis virus disebabkan oleh salah satu dari lima jenis virus yaitu, Hepatitis A virus (HAV), Hepatitis B virus (HBV), Hepatitis C virus (HCV), Hepatitis D virus (HDV), Hepatitis E virus. Semua jenis virus yang menyerang manusia merupakan virus RNA (Ribonukleat acid) kecuali virus Hepatitis B yang merupakan virus DNA(DeoxyriboNucleicAcid). Tujuan:Untuk mengetahui perbandingan dari bulan Januari – Desember Tahun 2020 Manakah yang lebih banyak terinfeksi virus Hepatitis B ataukah Hepatitis C di UUD PMI KabupatenKaranganyar Metode Penelitian:peneliti menggunakan desainpenelitian Cross sectional kuantitatif yaitu peneliti memulainya dari data kemudian peneliti menganalisis data yang bersifat kuantitatif atau statistik. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dariUDD PMI Kabupaten Karanganyar. Data sekunder berupa data hasil pemeriksaan Hepatitis B dan Hepatitis C reaktif pada pendonor darah yang tercatat di UDD PMI Kabupaten Karanganyar dari Bulan Januari-Desember 2020 Hasil:Berdasarkan dari hasil analisis data 129 sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian jumlah reaktif HBsAg lebih banyak dari pada HCV pada bulan Januari-Desember Tahun 2020 dengan jumlah sampel 104 dengan jumlah persentase 80,6%dan HCV reaktif dengan jumlah sampel 25 dengan jumlah persentase 19,4%. Kesimpulan:jumlah reaktif HBsAg lebih banyak dari pada HCV pada bulan Januari-Desember Tahun 2020 dengan jumlah sampel 104 dengan jumlah persentase 80,6% dan HCV reaktif dengan jumlah sampel 25 dengan jumlah persentase 19,4% Kata kunci: HBsAg HCV ABSTRACT Background: Hepatitis is a systemic infection that predominantly attacks the liver.
