Abstrak Latar Belakang : Pengetahuan Hepatitis B bertujuan untuk meminimalisir terjadinya risiko penyebaran Hepatitis B yang terus saja meningkat. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa prodi Teknologi Bank Darah semester IV Politeknik Akbara Surakarta tentang penyakit Hepatitis B. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan desain penelitian cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini 45 responden. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh langsung dari responden melalui kuesioner dan diolah menggunakan SPSS dan Microsoft Excel. Analisa ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabel distribusi frekuensi dan diagram. Hasil : Tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa pada soal 01 pengertian Hepatitis B (100%), soal 02 (95,6%), soal 03 dan 04 penyebab Hepatitis B (97,8%), soal 05 (95,6%), pada soal 06 (100%) dan soal 07 (22,2%), pada soal 08 dan soal 10 penularan Hepatitis B (100%), soal 09 (97,8%), soal 11 (84,4%), soal 12 (95,6%), soal 13 pengobatan Hepatitis B (97,8%), soal 14 pencegahan Hepatitis B (97,8%) dan soal 15 (88,9%) hal ini menunjukkan tingkat pengetahuan pada mahasiswa yaitu baik. Kesimpulan : Tingkat pengetahuan pada mahasiswa prodi Teknologi Bank Darah semester IV Politeknik Akabara Surakarta tentang penyakit Hepatitis B yaitu baik. Methods : This study uses descriptive research methods using a quantitative approach and a cross-sectional research design. The population in this study was 45 respondents. Determination of the sample using a total sampling technique. The data used is primary data obtained directly from respondents through questionnaires and processed using SPSS and Microsoft Excel. The analysis is presented in the form of frequency distribution tables and diagrams. Results : The level of knowledge of students on questions 01 understanding of Hepatitis B (100%), questions 02 (95.6%), questions 03 and 04 causes of Hepatitis B (97.8%), questions 05 (95.6%), on questions 06 (100%) and question 07 (22.2%), on question 08 and question 10 of Hepatitis B transmission (100%), question 09 (97.8%), question 11 (84.4%), question 12 ( 95.6%), question 13 about hepatitis B treatment (97.8%), question 14 prevention of hepatitis B (97.8%) and question 15 (88.9%) this shows that the level of knowledge in students is good. Conclusion : The level of knowledge of the students of Blood Bank Technology Study Program in semester IV of the Surakarta Akabara Polytechnic about Hepatitis B is good.
